SPECIALTIES & APPROACH

Where the work begins.

PTSD & Trauma Recovery

Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure, the two treatments with the strongest evidence for PTSD, structured and time-limited, delivered by a psychologist certified in both and practiced in them for more than a decade.

Complex & Interpersonal Trauma

Careful, paced work for adults carrying childhood abuse, interpersonal violence, or long-standing complex trauma, drawing on an intensive treatment model she developed and evaluated over more than a decade of clinical research.

PTSD with Co-Occurring Substance Use

Integrated treatment when trauma and substance use travel together, built on years leading a residential PTSD and substance use program and serving as a site investigator on a national study of how best to treat both at once.

Couples Therapy for PTSD

Cognitive Behavioral Conjoint Therapy, a structured couples treatment designed to reduce PTSD symptoms and repair the relationship at the same time, so partners recover together rather than one waiting on the other.

Anxiety, Depression & Resilience

Cognitive behavioral and emotion regulation approaches for anxiety and depression, informed by published research on resilience and what actually protects people under sustained strain.

Veterans & Service Members

Ten years inside the VA system treating PTSD, interpersonal violence, and readjustment after deployment, including group programs built to help returning veterans rebuild after service.

Licensed in Ohio. PSYPACT authorized for telehealth in participating states through CEREVITY.
