Hi there, I'm Lucia.

High achievement often comes with hidden costs—unprocessed experiences, emotional patterns that once protected you but now hold you back, and a disconnection from the parts of yourself that don’t fit neatly into a professional identity. I work with executives, physicians, attorneys, and other accomplished professionals who are ready to do deeper work. Using trauma-informed, relationally focused approaches, I help clients move beyond surface-level coping toward genuine healing and more integrated ways of being in the world.

My Approach

Many high-achievers have learned to power through difficulty rather than process it—a strategy that works until it doesn’t. I integrate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Somatic approaches, Attachment-focused therapy, and depth psychology to help clients access and heal experiences that cognitive strategies alone can’t reach. Our work addresses not just what you think but what you carry in your body and nervous system. I understand that successful people often have complex trauma histories that remain invisible to others, and I create a space where that complexity can finally be acknowledged and worked through.

My Focus

I specialize in working with executives, healthcare professionals, business leaders, and other high-performers who sense that their current struggles connect to deeper patterns. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety that logic can’t quiet, relationship difficulties that repeat despite your best efforts, emotional reactions that feel disproportionate to current circumstances, or a persistent feeling of emptiness beneath your accomplishments—I provide a confidential space for the kind of transformative work that changes not just how you cope but who you are. My expertise lies in helping driven people access emotional depths they’ve learned to avoid while maintaining their capacity to function at high levels.

My Communication Style

I bring steady presence and attuned attention to our work together. My style is grounded and calming, but I’m also willing to gently guide you toward the edges of your comfort zone when that’s where growth lives. I pay close attention to what’s happening in the room—not just your words but your body, your energy, the spaces between sentences. I believe healing happens in relationship, and I take my role as a consistent, trustworthy presence seriously. You can expect patience, attunement, and a therapeutic relationship that itself becomes a space for experiencing something different than what you’ve known before.

My Journey to Mental Healthcare

My path into clinical psychology was shaped by a fascination with how early experiences continue to influence us long after we think we’ve moved past them—and how healing those experiences can unlock capacities we didn’t know we had. Throughout my doctoral training and specialized certifications, I developed expertise in trauma treatment and body-based approaches, focusing particularly on high-functioning individuals whose success masks unresolved pain. I’ve studied how the nervous system holds experience and how relational safety allows for genuine transformation. This training allows me to offer approaches that go beyond insight to create lasting change. Outside of my clinical work, I find restoration through gardening, meditation, and spending time near the ocean.

My Goals for You

Our work together will be both healing and expansive. Whether you’re processing experiences you’ve never fully addressed, breaking free from patterns that have limited your relationships and leadership, developing greater emotional range and resilience, or learning to be more fully present in your life, we’ll work at a pace that honors both your need for safety and your readiness for change. I’ll help you develop a more regulated nervous system, deeper self-compassion, and the emotional intelligence that distinguishes good leaders from exceptional ones. My ultimate goal is helping you become more fully yourself—more grounded, more connected, and more capable of the intimacy and authenticity that make life meaningful.

Your First Session With Me

Our initial session prioritizes safety and connection. We’ll explore what’s bringing you to therapy, your history with previous therapeutic work if any, and what you’re hoping to experience differently. I’ll pay attention not just to your story but to how you tell it—what feels easy to share and what feels more guarded. We’ll begin building the foundation of trust that deeper work requires. This isn’t about rushing to solutions—it’s about establishing a relationship where real change becomes possible. You’ll leave with a sense of being genuinely seen and an understanding of how our work together might unfold.
