Helped me transition out of survival mode

March 16, 2026

After 18 years in the military legal system, I was functioning but not living. I had convinced myself that grinding through exhaustion was discipline. My therapist helped me see it for what it was. Three months in and my wife says I’m a different person at home. I actually sleep now. The telehealth format made it possible to stay consistent even during a PCS move. 4 stars because it took a few weeks to get me onboarded with my therapist as they didnt have anyone in my state at the time with my time slots (Maine)

Confidential and professional

In my position, discretion is non-negotiable. I needed someone who understood the unique stressors of senior government leadership without me having to explain the politics, the bureaucracy, the weight of it. They delivered.

Online therapy that doesn't feel impersonal

March 9, 2026

When my startup nearly went under, I didn’t know who to talk to. My therapist helped me process the fear and guilt without telling me to “just step back.” She understood I couldn’t walk away. Other therapists I’d tried would suggest I take a vacation or reduce my workload, as if that were even an option. This was the first time someone met me where I actually was and helped me move forward from there.

Changed how I think about strength

March 6, 2026

I spent twenty years in corporate America believing that strength meant handling everything alone. Never complaining, never asking for help, never showing a crack. Therapy taught me that’s not strength. That’s just stubbornness with good branding. Real strength is being honest about what’s hard and doing something about it. I’m a better leader, a better husband, and a better person for finally learning that lesson.

Therapy without the stigma

I was nervous about seeking help. The whole process felt professional and normal, like hiring an executive coach but for your mental health. Exactly what I needed.

Before you write

Your review publishes under the name you enter, so most clients use a first name and a last initial. You do not need to name your clinician, name a diagnosis, or include any clinical detail for a review to be useful to the next person reading it, and we would rather you did not.

What you submit is your own account of your own care. We publish it as written, we do not edit it, and we do not add to it.

Change your mind later and it comes down. Write to us through the contact page and we remove it, no reason needed. Our full confidentiality posture is in the Notice of Privacy Practices and the Privacy Policy.
