Reserved Clinical Access, Held for You
Concierge therapy: a licensed clinician whose week already has your hour in it
Concierge therapy at CEREVITY is not faster therapy. It is held therapy: one licensed clinician, one standing weekly hour that is never offered to anyone else, and a coordinator who handles everything around it so the only thing you manage is showing up. 100% virtual. Private-pay. Nationwide.
The short answer
Concierge therapy at CEREVITY is licensed psychotherapy delivered through a standing weekly hour that one clinician holds for you and releases to no one else, with a single coordinator managing everything around it. The arrangement is private-pay and nationwide by secure telehealth, so no insurance claim, diagnosis code, or carrier record is created.
The question people ask before they ask about fees
Does concierge mean my name sits in more systems, not fewer?
The word suggests a membership desk, a file, a profile. The opposite is true here. The arrangement removes every intermediary that would normally hold a record of you, and leaves exactly one.
No claim, no code, no carrier
Every concierge arrangement is private-pay. Nothing is submitted to an insurer, so no diagnosis code is generated and no carrier database ever learns that the work exists.
One clinician holds the record
The only clinical record lives with your licensed clinician under HIPAA and legal privilege. Your coordinator schedules and protects the hour; the coordinator does not read the notes.
Nobody sees you keep the appointment
There is no lobby and no waiting room, and the standing hour is placed where your calendar reads as ordinary: before the first meeting, over a protected lunch, after the last call.
What people are actually buying when they ask for a concierge therapist
Not luxury. Continuity. Six situations our coordinators hear on the first call from people whose calendars eat everything that is not nailed down.
Therapy that kept getting bumped
You started twice before. Both times the work was going somewhere and both times a quarter close, a deal, or a board cycle pushed it off the calendar and it never came back.
A schedule nobody else survives
Your assistant runs your day in fifteen-minute blocks. A therapist who offers whatever slot is open on Tuesday cannot fit that life; a clinician who holds one fixed hour can.
A directory you cannot be seen in
You are recognizable, or your role is. Browsing profiles, filling out portals, and sitting in a lobby are risks you do not take. You want one call, one match, one door.
Access between sessions that is actually clinical
Not a chat app. When something breaks on a Thursday, you want your own clinician's judgment about whether it waits until the standing hour or needs a second one this week.
Work that has to run across time zones
Three cities a month, two continents a quarter. You need a clinician who plans around the travel pattern instead of one who cancels because of it.
A spouse or a family office doing the research
Someone who loves you, or works for you, has been told to find something discreet and serious. They need a model they can explain in two sentences and a coordinator who answers the phone.
What concierge therapy actually involves
The clinical work is the same evidence-based psychotherapy every CEREVITY client receives. The concierge layer changes what is held around it.
One coordinator, then one clinician
The arrangement starts with a single conversation with a CEREVITY coordinator: what you are carrying, what you need the hour to do, and what your calendar and travel actually look like. Matching is made on clinical fit for that work, and the standing hour is placed before the first session so it exists from day one.
From then on the coordinator is the only administrative contact you have. Rescheduling around a board week, adding a second session, moving the hour across a time zone: one message, handled, and the clinical relationship stays clean of logistics.
A held hour changes the work
Weekly psychotherapy is cumulative. When the hour is protected, the work stops restarting: your clinician carries the thread from week to week, and the sessions build instead of re-establishing ground. That continuity is the clinical case for the arrangement, and it is the reason the standing hour is never released to another client.
Depth follows the work rather than the slot. Some clients keep a weekly 50-minute hour; others hold a 90-minute standing session, or add a 3-hour intensive when a decision or a season demands it. Your clinician tells you which is indicated and why.
What clients report changing
The first thing most concierge clients describe is relief that the appointment stopped being a negotiation. The hour exists, it is theirs, and the energy that used to go into rebooking goes into the session.
Over months, the pattern they came in with gets the sustained attention it never received from stop-start care. Progress is measured with the same validated instruments from intake, so the arrangement is judged on outcomes, not on the comfort of having it.
Concierge therapy or a therapy app: know what is being held
Subscription apps sell availability. A concierge arrangement sells one clinician's reserved time. They are not the same product.
| CEREVITY, Concierge Arrangement | Subscription Therapy App | |
|---|---|---|
| Who you see | One licensed clinician, matched on clinical fit, for the life of the arrangement | Whichever provider on the platform has capacity; reassignment is common |
| Your session time | A standing weekly hour reserved for you and released to no one else | Booked slot by slot from whatever is open that week |
| What happens between sessions | Your own clinician's judgment on whether it waits or needs a second hour | Asynchronous messaging, often answered by someone other than your therapist |
| Insurance footprint | None; private-pay creates no claim, code, or carrier record | Varies; many apps bill insurance and generate a diagnosis code |
| Choose it when | Continuity with one clinician is the point, and your calendar has already defeated ordinary scheduling | You want low-cost, low-commitment access and do not mind who answers |
Concierge by design: you never browse a directory
One conversation with a coordinator. One deliberate match. One hour that stays yours.
Where we practice: nationwide. Coverage is nationwide: our psychologists carry PsyPact authority across the participating states and individually licensed clinicians cover the rest, matched to wherever you are physically located during session. For clients who travel, the coordinator builds the travel pattern into the match from the start.

One held hour, one story
“I had quit therapy three times, and every time it was the calendar, not the therapist. My chief of staff found CEREVITY and the coordinator asked one question nobody had asked before: what hour of the week do you actually control? Tuesday at six in the morning, it turned out. Fourteen months later it is still Tuesday at six, in four cities so far, and it is the only appointment in my week I have never moved.
