Finally Finding My Voice

June 23, 2025

I’ve always struggled to speak up for myself, both at work and with my family. Starting therapy was intimidating, but my therapist created an atmosphere where I could share honestly, even about things I was ashamed of. She helped me see patterns in my relationships and taught me how to set boundaries without feeling guilty. There were weeks I felt like I was taking one step forward and two back, but she never gave up on me, always reminding me that real change takes time. The biggest difference I notice is that I’m not afraid to express my needs anymore. For the first time, I feel heard—in my life, not just in the therapy room.

Flexible Therapy for a Busy Schedule

June 19, 2025

Balancing work and single parenthood left me with very little time for self-care. I appreciated how easy Cerevity made it to get started and schedule sessions that worked for me. My therapist was always accommodating when I had to reschedule, and it removed so much stress from the process. I’ve learned to set boundaries and take time for myself—something I hadn’t done in years.

Affirming and Inclusive Care

June 17, 2025

Finding a therapist who respected my identity as a transgender man was incredibly important to me. Cerevity was welcoming from the first call. My clinician always used the right name and pronouns, and sessions felt like a safe place to talk through my worries about coming out at work and with family. I felt seen and affirmed in every session.

Saved My Marriage

June 16, 2025

Working in law enforcement put a strain on my marriage. My partner felt like I was always distant, and I didn’t know how to let her in after tough days. In therapy, I learned how to communicate better at home and not bring work stress into every conversation. My wife has even joined a couple of sessions, and we’re closer now than we’ve been in years.

Learning to Manage Stress

June 16, 2025

Balancing work, kids, and aging parents started to wear me down. I used to think feeling overwhelmed was just part of being an adult, but therapy helped me realize there are healthier ways to cope. My therapist taught me stress management tools and helped me carve out time for self-care. It’s made a real difference in how I handle the chaos of daily life.

Before you write

Your review publishes under the name you enter, so most clients use a first name and a last initial. You do not need to name your clinician, name a diagnosis, or include any clinical detail for a review to be useful to the next person reading it, and we would rather you did not.

What you submit is your own account of your own care. We publish it as written, we do not edit it, and we do not add to it.

Change your mind later and it comes down. Write to us through the contact page and we remove it, no reason needed. Our full confidentiality posture is in the Notice of Privacy Practices and the Privacy Policy.
